Job Description

Our tech client, an e-commerce destination, is looking for a UI/UX Designer (Livestream) for an ongoing contract position. The role is 100% remote. You will be a key member of a dynamic product design team supporting web and app-specific initiatives around live streaming.

Responsibilities:

• Support the end-to-end UI/UX design process for web and mobile for live streaming, from concept ideation to final implementation
• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs, pain points and behaviors
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your design concepts and solutions
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of design solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile and native app design and actively share your knowledge and insights with the team
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization, fostering a culture of empathy and user advocacy

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of product design experience
• Experience with live streaming products and samples to present
• Online portfolio showcasing your visual design and product design skills for live streaming products
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., UX design, human-computer interaction, graphic design)
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Experience in conducting user research, including interviews, usability testing and surveys
• Strong knowledge of mobile app design guidelines and best practices for iOS and Android platforms
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and solutions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, juggling multiple projects and priorities
