Trust and Safety Technical Program Manager The Trust and Safety team is responsible for ensuring the trust and safety of Apple services through a combination of threat modeling, data-driven policy, and machine learning. To do so, we are seeking an expert in fraud and abuse on digital platforms such as account takeovers and spam. This role will help drive and support the evolution of the business, working in lockstep with internal and external business partners to rapidly build and deploy effective fraud-fighting solutions to production which is essential in our fight with fraudsters and abusers. It’s a hands-on, cross-functional, highly-engaged job. A good PM is key to the success of the team and products. Description Release the right set of features for our customers, on time and with high quality. Drive all aspects of the software development process: document requirements, scope work, develop a plan, generate a schedule, craft, implement and ship. Work cross-functionally across Apple to use the collective skills and intelligence of our people. Discover and eliminate complexity and ambiguity in projects to ensure visibility and establish goals and expectations for services requested. Make critical decisions and trade-offs to ensure your programs are successful. Help to define a product vision and strategy. Resolve discrepancies, troubleshoot, and unblock issues. Understand sophisticated technical projects and can quickly learn about new technologies and solutions to run their implementation. Connect with every level of our organization, from individual contributors to executives. Demonstrate high integrity and strong values, every single day. Keep up-to-date on the latest technology solutions in the market to generate innovative ideas to tackle challenges. Work closely with Legal, Privacy, and Security teams to design and implement solutions. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of program management experience with consumer-facing products. Experience in designing and operating highly distributed, scalable and available systems. Understanding of big data and machine learning systems, tools, and technologies. Preferred Qualifications Strong technical proficiency, steadfast attention to details, persistent at follow-up, and demanding of quality. Consistent track record of running complex cross-functional software projects that support applications and services. Proficiency in applying project management and collaboration tools. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Hands-on experience building and delivering client software, web, and internet services. Self-starting, self-directed, results-producing, and self-sufficient. Flexible and open working style, with an ability to quickly establish trust and credibility. Experience working in a multifaceted, results-driven environment. Comfortable managing ambiguity and working with cross-functional teams. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
