Job Description & RequirementsUnit: Radiology | X-Ray Tech – Magic Valley Hospital\n\nCertifications: BLS; ARRT (X-ray) required\n\nExperience: Strong surgery/OR background required. Must have C-arm, 3D C-arm, and power injector experience. O-arm experience preferred (not required). First-time travelers accepted.\n\nDepartment: 4 rooms + 1 ER room; 7 C-arms, O-arms, and portables\n\nCoverage Areas: ER, inpatient, outpatient, OR\n\nJob Duties: General X-ray, fluoro, barium swallow & swallow studies; ER protocols and physician preferences followed\n\nVolume: ~100 procedures/day\n\nSystems: Epic; McKesson/Change Healthcare PACS\n\nEquipment: Philips X-ray/portable, Siemens X-ray, CareStream, OEC C-arm\n\nIVs: Not required\n\nLeadership: Lead Tech on shifts; supervisors during weekdays\n\nSchedule: Mostly 10-hour shifts; day starts 8–10 AM. Nights 12:30 AM–6:00 AM (single tech).\n\nWeekends: Every other weekend (rotation)\n\nHolidays: Travelers last resort\n\nCall/Standby: Optional standby\n\nScrubs: Surgical scrubs provided\n\nOrientation: Up to 3 shifts\n\nNote: 50-mile radius rule—perm address required with submittal to confirm eligibility.
