- Currently licensed by the California Emergency Medical Services Authority as a Paramedic
- Sierra Sacramento Valley Emergency Medical Services accreditation (within 45 days)
- BLS

- California driver's license
- Ambulance drivers’ certificate (to include the medical exam certificate)
