Requirements:
Chemistry, Hematology, and Blood Bank experience preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science from an accredited institution (preferred)
Must have one of the following:
Valid MLT certification through TN State Licensure, ASCP, AMT, AAB, HHS, or equivalent accrediting agency (TN State license preferred)
EMR: Cerner
Job Overview:
The Medical Technologist performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring disease states. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing samples, following standardized procedures, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of results.
