Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with an active NC or compact license and BLS/ACLS certifications for night shifts.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Emergency Room of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), three shifts per week
• Patient population consists of emergency and acute care cases
• EMR system used is MEDITECH, but prior experience with this EMR is not required
• Locals are accepted at the regular rate
• Responsibilities include providing emergency care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Travel nursing experience and two years of ER experience are preferred
• Travelers are expected to keep requests for time off to a minimum and must submit all requests up front for approval
• No previous disciplinary action on nursing license
• Night shift role with ER patient population and an acute care environment

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active NC or compact RN license in good standing at time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• Minimum of one year of recent experience relevant to the ER position, with documented work experience from the last three years
• Two supervisory references required
