Project Manager - Traffic

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored project solutions, collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Mentor engineering staff in all phases of transportation planning and traffic signal design.
• Prepare technical traffic memorandums, studies, and reports.
• Develop signal design plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Support client meetings and public presentations.

Skills

• Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Through responsible autonomy, manage individual tasks and assignments
• Self-starter and motivator with attention to detail
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D is a plus

Opportunities

• Perform quality control reviews of transportation planning, traffic study, and design components.
• Handle management tasks including schedules, budgets, contracts, invoicing, etc.
• Facilitate client meetings and lead public presentations.
• Drive business development efforts to expand TEC's presence in Maine.
• Grow personally and professionally through leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Licensed PE (required), PTOE (preferred).
• 7+ years of transportation/traffic design experience.
• Familiarity with MUTCD and MaineDOT design manuals, standards, and procedures .
