This position is responsible for directing vehicular traffic throughout the property including self-parking garage, employee parking areas and surface parking lots. Primary duties include shuttling valet attendants and other employees as needed, assisting guests and employees with jump starts, lockouts and other vehicle issues, and assisting with helicopter landings and departures. Secondary duties include filling propane tanks, ticket level reminders and supplies, maintaining and organizing work and storage areas, and moving cones, barriers, scooters and wheelchairs to various locations as needed. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license or CDL Class B license with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements, and insurability through the company carrier. Competencies required include good written and verbal communication skills, good organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to operate various types of vehicles including manual transmissions, and the ability to work with little or no supervision. Training requirements include knowledge of Ascent and EmpowerTime systems and SMART alcohol awareness. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for extended periods, work outdoors in all weather conditions, visit all work areas in Transportation regularly, and work various shifts and flexible hours.
