JOB TITLE: Stone Mason

Duties :

• Use tools like chisels, hammers, and power grinders to cut and shape stones to the required dimensions
• Construct and repair stone structures such as walls, archways, piers, monuments, and tombstones
• Interpret structural blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate construction
• Prepare and apply mortar or cement to bind stones together
• Use levels and plumb bobs to set and verify the vertical and horizontal alignment of structures
• Operate cranes, hoists, and other heavy machinery to move and position stones
• Smooth and polish stone surfaces using hand and power tools
• Fix cracked or chipped areas on stone structures using tools like blow torches and mastic
• Wear protective gear and follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Pay

• $22- $43
• Pending experience and references

Shift:

• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $43.00/hr.
