The Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (VPUE) is looking for a Director of Community Partnerships to expand outreach and engagement efforts on behalf of the Haas Center with local community-based organizations, government, businesses, individuals, and neighborhoods. This position will serve as a crucial liaison for community partners, manage partner-facing events, strengthen communications with local to global partners, and oversee the center’s Americorps VISTA program. The Director of Community Partnerships will work closely with an existing senior program director of campus partnerships and report to the Deputy Director.
The Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (VPUE) at Stanford acts as the main connection point for undergraduate students to the various educational opportunities at the university. It aims to engage faculty, instructors, and staff in actively supporting undergraduate students' intellectual growth. VPUE offers a wide range of programs and initiatives for undergraduates, including introductory courses, writing and rhetoric classes, research support, academic advising, overseas study programs, inclusive teaching practices, and public service opportunities. Additionally, VPUE works to enhance faculty interaction with undergraduates and to facilitate enriching experiences for all involved in undergraduate education at Stanford.
The expected pay range for this position is $111,000 to $128,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
