Position Summary The Stage Manager is responsible for the microphone, sound, and lighting activities for all District-related events that occur at the high school auditorium. Activities and events include, but are not limited to, concerts, plays, musicals, and assemblies.
Annual Stipend: $2000 Minimum Qualifications - Familiarity with technical aspects of the theatre.

Performance Responsibilities (Essential Functions) - Maintain the technical equipment associated with the auditorium and stage.
- Ensure equipment is stored in an organized fashion.
- Teach and supervise the students, referred to as the Stage Crew, in the skills necessary to operate the sound, lighting, and other equipment necessary to provide production support to District groups that use the facility.
- Responsible for microphone, soundboard, and lighting management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Ability to work with a flexible schedule.
- Strong organizational, leadership and training skills.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position while in meetings, observing a rehearsal or performance. The person in this position frequently moves about inside an office, rehearsal, and auditorium. Operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as printer, copy machine, and backstage lighting, soundboard machine and microphones. Occasionally ascends/descends ladders and stairs to inspect safety of theatrical scenery and properties.
Strength: Medium/Heavy - exert force 50-100 lbs., occasionally; 25-50 lbs., frequently; or 10-20 lbs., constantly.
Work Environment: May have to work at heights, around moving machinery, and with exposure to noise, vibration, and dust. Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud for occasional to frequent time periods.
Mental Functions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and use interpersonal skills. The employee is frequently required to compare, coordinate, and instruct. The employee is frequently required to evaluate, analyze, and produce.
Evaluation Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with School Board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of non-licensed personnel.
