SERVPRO Team Wall is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Staff Accountant to support key accounting functions and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
What Youll Do: In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end close activities. Youll collaborate with team members across departments to gather and analyze financial data while helping to strengthen internal controls and reporting processes.
Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions
- Help develop and maintain internal controls
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data
What Were Looking For: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 13 years of accounting experience preferred (internships count!)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
