Job Description
The Engineering Manager will be joining the eCommerce IT organization. This person will be overseeing the development and modernization of the SaaS based Loyalty and Membership platforms. Upon joining, the primary work that the manager will be overseeing is the migration of a legacy platform onto a new Saas based platform for Loyalty and Membership. This person should come from a strong backend integration and API development background, with the ability to guide and direct the implementation and development teams, as well as be able to get into the weeds and be hands on if needed (up to 30% of the time).
The Engineering manager will work alongside the enterprise data team, as well as architects, QA, offshore team members, product owners, and will be closely aligned with executive leadership for communication and updates. This person should have a good understanding of business problems within eCommerce/retail, MarTech, or personalization, and will be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of the new Loyalty and Membership solution. Additionally, the Engineering manager should foster and promote participation and collaboration with a globally distributed team.
Required Skills And Experience
- 10+ years of full stack software development
- 5+ years of involvement in software or systems design and architecture
- 4+ years of engineering management or leadership experience, overseeing and guiding technical teams
- Strong backend and API development skills (open to Java, Python, or similar)
- Strong background in backend systems integration experience
- 3+ years experience in AWS cloud based environment
- Breadth of experience on large scale, SaaS based projects, with 20+ resources, multi-discipline, globally distributed teams
- Experience working within eCommerce, retail, personalization, MarTech domains or projects – or related industries
- Prior experience implementing or integrating new technology or platforms from scratch
- Prior experience working on Siebel or Eagle Eye loyalty or membership platforms or similar
- Experience with GraphQL

These ranges may differ in other areas and could be subject to variation based on regulatory minimum wage requirements. Actual pay rates will depend on factors such as position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws. If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.
