JOB DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Plan, design, and review functional specifications and business workflows of computer software systems. Develop test strategies, test plan specifications, Sprint Demos, test summary reports, and defect reports. Plan, design, and review functional specifications and business workflows. Gather inputs required for testing and provide suggestions based on past testing experiences and overall domain knowledge to help improve operational efficiency. Conduct the defect triage meetings along with development team and the respective teams. Track all the defects to the closure and update the appropriate root cause. Actively participate in daily stand up meetings, sprint planning meeting, sprint demo, retrospective meetings and publish the testing dashboard to the stakeholders on regular basis. Take care of production release activities and perform the production validation to ensure no breakages and no customer impacts. Write, integrate, manage, and execute Gherkin scenarios using the tools like cucumber BDD, Maven, Appium, Eclipse, IntelliJ, XCODE and Android studio for Chase Mobile application. Test ADA (American Disability Act) requirements for the Chase app on iOS and Android platforms. Create, review & maintain creative QA checklist and test cases for Analytics Testing.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Project Lead, IT Consultant/Associate, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Windows; Agile SDLC; Jenkins; Java; Javascript; Selenium; SQL; SOAP; Maven; JSON; Oracle; GIT; Cucumber; Automated Testing; Blackbox Testing; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Regression Testing; Smoke Testing; System Integration Testing; User Acceptance Testing.
