As a Skilled Construction Laborer with People Ready Skilled Trades, you'll support a large network of construction contractors Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. In this long-term, temp-to-hire role, you'll enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule.

The hourly rate for this position is $26-$30/ hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Perform manual labor tasks such as digging trenches, carrying materials, and installing structures
• Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors
• Use power tools
• Must be able to measure a pay very good attention to detail

Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation to get to jobsite
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Position may require a drug screen
• Basic Hand tools
