Shipping & Receiving Material Handler

~~Responsibilities include moving material with lifts / forklifts, and/or pulling orders, boxing, packing or crating parts for shipment. Labeling and preparing shipping documents, unloading or loading trucks (physically demanding job - needs to be able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently), verifying freight and shipping documents, verifying quantities, and other general warehouse / order pulling / shipping and receiving duties.

Job Requirements

You must be dependable, responsible and able to work at a fast pace while always being able to occupy yourself with new tasks as needed. You must also be a team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt, on time and committed to maintaining consistent work attendance.

Specific qualifications for the position include:

• •Experience operating a forklift for the same company for at least 6-12 consecutive months
• •Basic math/counting skills
• •Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• •Good, clear visual ability
• •Ability to lift 50 pounds
• •Flexibility with regard to hours and scheduling
• •Experience with multiple forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, cherry-picker, clamp and reach) preferred
• •Experience in both loading/unloading as well as in placing product in warehouse racks preferred
• •Computer skills a plus
• •Bilingual a plus
• •High School Diploma/GED
