Job Description

1. Project Overview

• This project aims to redesign and rebuild the agency's internal intranet site to improve its usability, accessibility, and functionality.
• The new intranet will serve as a central hub for internal communication, resources, and business operations across key functional areas.

2. Objectives

• Deliver a modern, user-friendly intranet design that reflects the agency's brand and enhances employee engagement.
• Implement secure authentication and access control using Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
• Build structured and easily navigable content areas for the following core business functions:
• Policies and Procedures
• Human Resources
• Procurement and Contracts
• Communications and Marketing
• Information Technology

3. Scope of Work

• Conduct a discovery phase that includes stakeholder interviews and current state analysis.
• Design a responsive and accessible intranet user interface that aligns with state or agency branding guidelines.
• Implement Microsoft Azure AD authentication for seamless user access and role-based permissions.
• Build out content templates and navigation for the identified core functional areas.
• Migrate existing content where applicable and assist with content organization.
• Provide training and documentation for content editors and administrators.

4. Deliverables

• Intranet design mockups and wireframes
• Azure AD integration for secure access
• Functional intranet with structured content areas
• Administrator and content editor training sessions
• Final documentation, including system architecture, user guides, and maintenance plans
