Job Title: SEO Content Specialist
Location: Fully Remote
Pay Rate: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing, executing, and delivering SEO strategies that enhance the website's content, on-page SEO, technical aspects, crawlability, and user experience.
Implement strategies to boost the website's visibility and ranking on search engine results pages.
Collaborate closely with website production teams and key stakeholders to communicate technical details and explain SEO tactics.
Utilize SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Search Console, Moz, and Screaming Frog to inform your content creation process.
Conduct continuous site audits, identifying and recommending areas for improvement.
Establish, measure, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on benchmarks.
Analyze traffic behavior, keyword rankings, and site performance, and work to optimize site taxonomy, titles, alt tags, meta tags, and schema markup.
Collaborate with creative and writing teams to produce high-quality content.
Work with developers to resolve technical SEO issues and ensure compliance with Google best practices.
Introduce and manage SEO A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of optimizations and quantify results.
Qualifications/Skills:
Experience interpreting SEO reports and effectively communicating findings to clients with varying levels of SEO knowledge.
Proficiency with WordPress and a comfortable ability to manipulate website backends.
Basic understanding of HTML and web design principles.
Skilled in using Mac or Microsoft Office products.
Proficient with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, or comparable platforms.
Capability to perform keyword research and implement SEO enhancements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for simplifying complex technical information.
Strong understanding of Local SEO, directory-style websites, service-based businesses, and on-page optimization.
Expertise in keyword tracking, research, and identifying high-intent content topics.
Experience collaborating with clients and marketing teams.
Familiarity with project management or CRM software, such as Notion, is a plus.
Previous experience in the HVAC or home services industry is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote workspace with team members and clients, delivering high-quality service.
