Overview Placement Type: Temporary Salary: $60/hr - $65/hr Start Date: 03.10.2025 This is a remote role with the client based out of New York, NY Pay Range: $60/hr - $65/hr Our client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will work with their internal GenAI initiatives. The team is dedicated to advancing the capabilities and applications of Generative AI within our firm, driving innovation, and delivering impactful AI solutions. What You'll Do As a Senior Software Engineer on our client's team, you will be at the forefront of the firm's Generative AI initiatives. Your role will involve writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining application code using Python. You will also be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing applications on the AWS cloud platform. This includes provisioning resources, managing infrastructure as code, and optimizing both performance and cost. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and resolving technical issues and challenges. This involves debugging code, troubleshooting infrastructure problems, and ensuring optimal performance. You will be pivotal in driving innovation within our firm, delivering impactful AI solutions, and collaborating with a distributed team across North America, Europe, and Latin America. Qualifications

• Software Engineer (5 years minimum experience preferably)
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Expertise with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL or cloud equivalent such as Amazon RDS
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and management.
• Proficiency in using AWS cloud platform for deploying and managing applications.
• Familiarity with GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
• Experience with the Slack app platform for application development and management.
• Knowledge of containerization
• Strong conceptual problem-solving
• Ownership mindset
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding the basic of GenAI required

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60/hr to $65/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
