SAP Consultant - Operations

Location: Chicago, IL; Hybrid preferred, but remote candidates will also be considered if open to quarterly travel

The ideal candidate will bring extensive consulting expertise in SAP implementations, with a strong background in manufacturing industry solutions and a proven track record of successful enterprise-level projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic SAP consulting services for manufacturing clients, delivering end-to-end implementation and optimization solutions
• Design and configure SAP modules specific to manufacturing business processes
• Conduct comprehensive business process analysis and develop tailored SAP solution recommendations
• Lead solution design workshops and define functional specifications
• Develop and execute testing strategies for SAP implementation projects
• Create detailed documentation, including process flows, configuration documents, and user guides
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to client teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of SAP consulting experience with Big 5 consulting firms (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG)
• 5+ years of SAP functional consulting experience specifically in the manufacturing industry
• SAP Certified Cloud Solution Consultant credential (ACTIVE)
• Expert-level knowledge of SAP ERP modules, with emphasis on:
• SAP S/4HANA
• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Supply Chain Management
• Production Planning
• Material Management
