Job Title: Senior Jira Administrator with Jira Align Experience Location: Denver, CO -3-4 days in office/week Job Summary: The Senior Jira Administrator will be responsible for the strategic administration, configuration, and maintenance of Jira and Jira Align systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Jira workflows, customizations, and integrations, as well as the ability to support and enhance our project management processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex projects, mentoring junior team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead the administration and management of Jira and Jira Align systems, including user management, permissions, and configurations. Design, implement, and maintain advanced Jira workflows, custom fields, dashboards, and reports. Relevant experience in Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management and Jira Product Discovery administration, including user management, permissions, and workflows Integrate Jira with other enterprise tools and systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Provide expert-level technical support and training to users, ensuring they can effectively utilize Jira and Jira Align. Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet strategic business needs. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement improvements to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Stay up-to-date with the latest Jira and Jira Align features and best practices, and recommend enhancements to improve our project management capabilities. Mentor and guide junior Jira administrators and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our project management processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience as a Jira Administrator, with at least 3 years of experience with Jira Align. Strong understanding of Jira workflows, customizations, and integrations. Experience with scripting and automation using Jira APIs, Groovy, or similar technologies. Proven track record of leading complex projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Relevant experience in Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management and Jira Product Discovery administration, including user management, permissions, and workflows Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and senior leadership.
