A few details about the role:
Consult and collaborate with Support Center leaders and the directors of human resources regarding recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and performance management of team members.
Administer the onboarding of new hires for the Support Center.
Administer human resource policies, procedures, and programs while ensuring compliance and confidentiality of information while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations.
Manage, track, administer, and support protected leaves and workers compensation claims for all Support Center team members in accordance with the federal guidelines.
Act as the main point of contact between Lifespace and the payroll provider.
Oversee the accurate collection and maintenance of payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and other adjustments.
Regularly audit payroll data to ensure consistency and accuracy before submission to the third-party provider.
Ensure that payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations, wage laws, and labor standards.
Manage the accurate filing of payroll taxes and compliance documentation, such as W-2s and 1099s.
Review payroll reports from the third-party provider for accuracy and approve final payroll.
And here’s what you need to apply:
Bachelor’s degree
Three or more years of human resources generalist experience
Three to five years of payroll experience
PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
