Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Fintech - this is a fully remote position for candidates based in EST to GMT+1 timezones.

Summary

Design and build the web applications and interfaces that power our fintech and payments platform. You’ll work primarily with React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing user experiences. This role requires strong product sense, deep technical expertise, and an ability to translate complex backend systems into intuitive, reliable systems. Experience with Node.js and NestJS is a must.

What you’ll do

• Build, optimize, and maintain web applications using React, TypeScript, NestJS and related technologies.

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to design and consume secure, efficient APIs.

• Translate complex financial and transactional workflows into clear, usable interfaces.

• Architect and implement front-end systems with strong attention to scalability, maintainability, and performance.

• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser consistency across all features.

• Lead feature delivery from design through implementation, testing, and release.

• Review code, share best practices, and mentor peers to maintain a high engineering standard.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring reliability and data integrity.

• Treat UI components and APIs as products—balancing developer experience, reliability, and usability.

• Favor simplicity and clarity in design and implementation, while planning for scale and resilience.

• Keep performance, accessibility, and security top of mind in every technical decision.

• Write documentation for components, patterns, and architectural decisions to support team-wide alignment.

• Collaborate openly in design reviews, code reviews, and postmortems to promote continuous improvement.

Minimum qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end or full-stack software engineering experience.

• Experience with backend technologies (Node.js, NestJS, MongoDB/Postgres).

• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and web application architecture.

• Proven experience integrating with backend APIs and handling data securely.

• Deep understanding of frontend performance, accessibility, and responsive design.

• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and secure communication in web apps.

• Experience designing for scalability, maintainability, and fault tolerance.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Exposure to financial, payments, or other transaction-heavy domains.

• Knowledge of infrastructure and deployment (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform).

• Familiarity with real-time data or event-driven architectures.

• Experience working in regulated environments (SOC2, ISO27001).

• Prior experience with internationalization, localization, and accessibility compliance.

• Experience contributing to or maintaining shared design systems or UI libraries.

• Experience building/scaling Design System Libraries

• Solid experience with Cypress and E2E libraries
