Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for apartment complex clients and employees. This is an important role that requires strong surveillance skills, loss prevention knowledge, and the ability to handle potential conflicts effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities
- Enforce access control procedures by checking identification and verifying credentials
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including medical emergencies or security breaches
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide assistance
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns from clients or visitors
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incident reports

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in security, or a related field is preferred
- Must possess a valid CPR and First Aid certificate
- Proficient in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Reliability, being on time and at work when required
- Must be able to pass a background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift

• Security: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Decatur, GA (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Decatur, GA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
