School Secretary

Reports to: Principal
Wage/Hour Status: Non-exempt
Length of Contract: 220 days
Salary: $105.80 - 115.80

Job Duties:
•Maintaining all office files
•Recording and reporting staff attendance
•Paying & receiving of bills, making deposits, balancing statements & financial reports
•Assisting Principals, Assistant Principals, and Directors with various duties
•Assisting school nurse with sick children, contacting parents, adminstering medications and keeping records of it
•General copier maintenance and scheduling service calls when problems arise
•Answering phone calls, classroom intercom calls, radio calls, and creating tickets when issues arise with phones/intercoms
•Scheduling appointments & manintaining several calendars
(principals, teacher conferences, district therapists, special education conferences, etc.)
•Ordering Supplies & assisting principals, facilitators, counselors, and teachers with purchasing
•Assisting with special events (Operation Christimas, Barton Gives Back, etc...)
•Handling all school forms- Updating & Maintaining registration and orientation information
•Tracking students sent to the office for disciplinary issues (dress code violations, referrals, etc.)
•Recording and reporting payroll attendance
•Typing reports and other memos
•Interacting with staff, students, parents, and community members on a daily basis
•Schedule campus events and facility use requests
