Job Title: Sanitation Worker

Job Description

Candidates will work in the Greenhouse department. The greenhouse is essential for the company's products and keeps the research process moving forward. Duties include operating a ride-on sweeper, ride-on scrubber, power washer, vacuum, and handheld blower. Responsibilities involve power washing walls of the greenhouse to remove algae, operating an industrial dishwasher, occasionally using a sit-down forklift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing general maintenance tasks using tools like brooms, dustpans, squeegees, pliers, hammers, and screwdrivers.

Work Environment

Shift: 1st Shift M-F 7:30am-4pm. Limited overtime, only if you volunteer for other work in the greenhouse. Guaranteed 40 hours a week. Dress code includes steel-toed boots if driving a forklift, closed-toed shoes, jeans, leggings, sweats, and 3-ply masks. It is recommended to wear layers. You will work in a small team and report to a supervisor, but the job will be largely independent.
