Marcus & Millichap has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Recruiter to join our team! This Sales Recruiter will support our recruiting efforts throughout the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast Regions. We are seeking an ideal candidate who has a demonstrated history of successfully recruiting commission-based sales professionals and a commitment to ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process. Our Recruiters partner closely with Senior Executives and Regional Managers to create market-specific talent acquisition plans and are on the front lines of building strong relationships with commercial real estate investment sales agents. This is a highly-visible, consultative position within the firm where your sourcing, influencing, and closing skills will be fully utilized and valued. The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Washington, DC is $80,000 - $90,000/annual plus bonus. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type of experience within the industry, education, etc. Marcus & Millichap is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states. This is a 100% on-site role in our Washington D.C office. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the sales recruitment life cycle for Mid-Atlantic & Southeast District offices. Develop and implement a position-specific targeted search strategy to source active and passive candidates by leveraging market data. Assess candidates’ qualifications, historical production results and compatibility with our firm’s culture. Prepare recruitment advertising & postings that utilize the latest recruitment marketing concepts including social media and direct sourcing. Review applicant resumes and pre-screen potential candidates who meet the job criteria to assess their interest, while sharing the company's mission and opportunities in each specific market. Participate and present at college and university career fairs to serve as an ambassador for the firm, while maintaining relationships with the Department Heads of their Real Estate, Finance or Business programs. Coordinate the recruitment process with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience. Cultivate strong relationships with candidates and maintain ongoing and effective communication throughout the recruitment journey. Update candidate profiles in applicant tracking system (ATS) and other internal tracking systems. Compile and complete recruiting reports and other related activities. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions related to commercial real estate recruiting. Support company goals related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with creative initiatives and recruiting programs. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of sales recruiting experience working in a corporate recruiting environment, though agency experience is a plus. A mix of high-volume candidate processing and direct sourcing experience is preferred. Commercial Real Estate Investment sales or leasing brokerage experience is a plus. Experience sourcing of 100% commission-based sales roles a plus. Experience managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, including employer branding, candidate engagement, and recruitment analytics. Demonstrated experience in sourcing and screening passive candidates using various channels and techniques such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media platforms. Exceptional organization skills with a strong focus on detail. Proven ability to create networks and build strong relationships with passive candidates. Exceptional oral and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Strong sense of urgency with a commitment to quality and follow through. Strong business acumen, decision-making and negotiation skills. Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with ATS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365 (SharePoint, OneNote, Teams etc.).
