Join our team./ppYour role at Clorox:/ppThis role supports transformation and continuous improvement efforts for the Close process within RTR. You will help support the implementation of optimizations, and support the team in shifting from transactional support to a more strategic and oversight-focused function. This role also supports data validation, testing, and quality assurance activities related to the Close process in RTR. You will ensure that changes, particularly system or SAP upgrades, do not disrupt reporting or Close operations. This role is critical for maintaining confidence in data accuracy, consistency, and completeness during transformation and upgrade cycles./ppIn this role, you will:/ppSupport Strategy and Transformation Development and Execution/pulliSupport the implementation of optimizations to the RTR process including those impacting S/4 and other technologies./liliSupport the product backlog for Close-related systems and processes (e.g., GR, S/4HANA, AFC)./liliPerform testing for system changes, including selected and required upgrades/liliLead and support testing for SAP upgrades impacting RTR Close data and reporting/liliValidate data accuracy and completeness during Close and post-close cycles/liliPartner with technical and business teams to define test cases and expected results/liliLog issues, track defects, and support resolution during testing cycles/liliHelp ensure data integrity across reporting outputs and key Close systems/liliSupport Close issue intake and level 0 problem solving; prioritize issues requiring EDT support./li/ulpMeasurement and Integration:/pulliManages interfaces and other dependencies with other processes and functions to be boundaryless, touchless and noiseless./liliPartner with international teams to enable consistency and readiness/liliTrack and monitor key metrics related to financial close timeliness, accuracy, and system performance to support continuous process refinement/li/ulpOther:/pulliSupport other ad hoc RTR Global Capability priorities and initiatives./li/ulpWhat we look for:/pulli3+ years of minimal professional work experience in Finance/Accounting./liliSystem implementation experience/liliConsumer Packaged Goods desired./liliExperience managing professional staff/li/ulpSkills and Abilities:/pulliUnderstand financial closing process/cycle and how close tasks impact the financial statement/liliUnderstand how to identify inefficiencies and support scalable solutions/liliBasic understanding of customer data, financial systems, and analytics potential/liliBe open to learning new technologies and processes/liliFamiliar with testing processes, especially for system and SAP upgrades/liliFocused on identifying inconsistencies or data quality issues/liliUnderstands how data flows during Close cycles/liliEffectively reports issues and collaborates across business and technical teams/liliAble to diagnose root causes of data or test failures/liliProject management skills and effective organization/liliAbility to think and work cross-functionally./liliMental Agility/liliAnalytical/liliAutonomous/liliStrong Effective Communication (both written and verbal)/liliFlexibility/Adaptability/li/ulpEducation Level/Degree:/pulliA bachelors degree in business or accounting./li/ulpWorkplace type:/ppHybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home/ppOur values-based culture connects to our purpose and empowers people to be their best, professionally and personally. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location.
