Pay range: Up to $50/hour

Summary/Objective
HiHealthCare is seeking highly skilled, compassionate, and impartial Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses who are committed to providing optimal nursing care for individuals in a secure setting. This role requires a blend of clinical skills, compassion, and strong ethical standards to meet the unique challenges of working in corrections. Working with a team of healthcare professionals, the RN or LPN may pass medications, perform medication reconciliation, collaborate with physicians, triage health concerns, provide wound care, and tend to other nursing tasks as needed. Although this position is classified as per diem, part-time to full-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• Current State of Hawaii RN/LPN License
• Current BLS & First Aid Certification
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• TB clearance
• N95 fit test clearance

Locations:
HiHealthCare takes great pride in collaborating with the State to serve Hawaii's diverse communities. Our services extend across the island of Oahu to each of the correctional facilities: Oahu Community Correctional Center (OCCC) in Honolulu, Womens Community Correctional Center (Kailua), Halawa Correctional Facility (Aiea), and Waiawa Correctional Facility (Waipahu). **Please note: the correctional facilities require a minimum availability of 2 shifts/week and every other weekend.
