Schedule: Full Time

Shift : Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

\n \n\n \n

Location: 25 South Terry St, Orlando, FL / will float to Davenport, Kissimmee and Orlando Magic Training facility

\n \n\n \n

The role you'll contribute: Responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients under the supervision of an attending physician. This position increases patient satisfaction, ensures compliance with schedule preparation, and responds to voicemails. Additionally, this role ensures adherence to policies and procedures. In addition, this position aims to decrease wait times.

\n \n\n \n

• Examines post-operative patients and preforms wound checks for possible infections.
\n \n
• Previews charts pre-operatively and documents any pertinent information including surgical clearances.
\n \n
• Uses clinical judgment when directing patient's care based on information the patient shares during the post-op call.
\n \n
• Completes required continuing education and training to maintain current, valid CPR certification and RN license, registration, or certification.
\n \n
• Removes staples, sutures, and bandages as directed.
\n \n
• Ensures that all certifications are prominently displayed and accessible for verification by employers and regulatory bodies.
\n \n
• Other duties as assigned.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree preferred
\n \n
• Completion of Accredited School of Nursing
\n \n
• 2 in orthopedics
\n \n
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
\n \n
• Registered Nurse (RN)
\n \n\n \n\n
