Position Overview

The Reset Supervisor will be responsible for drawing store plans for resets and supervision of a team in an assigned territory. The position will coordinate with both team members and brokers on resets and other store shelf merchandising needs.

• Assist the Reset Merchandising Manager with organizing and planning the annual reset calendar. This may include working with a variety of individuals, including Store Counselors, Store Owners and Store Managers, to assess retailer needs.
• Plan the weekly reset calendar, including communication with Merchandisers, Store personnel and Brokers to maximize efficiency and expense.
• Involve retailer and merchandising team in reset planning. Determine future reset plans; survey stores in preparation for reset; develop new layout; order equipment, supplies, shelf tags as needed to complete reset projects; maintain the reset schedule; manage projects.
• Communicate reset plans through contact with internal teams, brokers, DSD vendors, and any other individual requested by the retailer to be included in the process.
• Interact with Reset Teams to improve work quality and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with all employees in order to maintain a positive work environment.
• Maintain all reports requested by management teams in an efficient manner.

• Specialized Knowledge : Ability to layout a supermarket and able to determine appropriate allocations for products and categories that will deliver the best sales opportunity for greatest sales growth
• Special Skills : Ability to oversee specialized teams who provide professional set and reset services for supermarkets; Strong attention to detail; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; Ability to act as a team player
• Physical abilities: : Lift up to 50 pounds
• Other: : Means of transportation to commute to applicable work sites

Years Of Experience

• 2-5 : years of experience in Merchandising or Resets; Reset and Merchandising experience supporting retail grocery stores preferred; Prior experience working for a DSD provider, broker, or retail grocery stores in a management role preferred

Qualifications

Associate Degree - General Studies, High School Diploma - General Studies
