Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) III looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

• Under the direction and supervision of the Operative Services Director is directly responsible for performing circulating and/or scrub nurse duties in the Operating Room; for providing nursing care to patients preoperatively, perioperatively, and postoperatively in support of care directed by the surgeon; for providing other assistance as required to the surgical team; and for acting in any nursing capacity as directed by the Operating Room Director and Coordinator.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Associates at minimum.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current licensure with the State of SD as a Registered Nurse or multi-state licensure

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
  • Day shift
  • Occasional weekend (by call rotation)
  • Occasional holiday (by call rotation)
  • Occasional call time (by call rotation)

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $32.00 - $46.50 per hour
