As a recruiter, you will focus on talent sourcing and acquisition. You will play a critical role in identifying and screening talent, and introducing prospective hires to our company and our offerings. This position is full-time. This position may be remote, although proximity to our headquarters in Houston is preferred. It may occasionally offer opportunities to travel for business purposes.

  • Take ownership for holistically supporting the recruiting process, all the way up to signing an offer letter (search strategies, creation of job advertisements, selection of sourcing channels, direct approach, applicant selection, applicant interviews, contract negotiation)?

  • Regularly engage with stakeholders across the organization to identify and fully understand new job openings?
  • Assist hiring managers as necessary in crafting or refining job descriptions and delineating the qualifications, competencies, and behavioral traits essential for a success profile?
  • Seek out and establish contact with potential candidates to fill vacant positions, leveraging referrals and sourcing methods?
  • Present the company and its opportunities accurately and professionally to candidates; stay abreast of any legal, policy or benefits adjustments that could affect job offers, collaborating closely with other recruitment team members to prevent redundancy in candidate outreach?
  • Coordinate all phases of the candidate evaluation process, including conducting comprehensive pre-screening calls, initiating any requested behavioral or skills-based evaluations, compiling candidate profiles, and arranging interviews with hiring managers via their preferred mode of communication?
Are You Ready to:
  • Maintain precise candidate records within the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Issue offers and maintain close coordination with various stakeholders, including HR team members, Operations Coordinators, and Training Coordinators, ensuring a seamless transition for to new hire orientation.
  • Take the lead in driving strategic initiatives impacting recruitment efforts, such as revising job descriptions, evaluating competitor benefit and compensation packages, coordinating manager interview (re)training sessions, identifying strategic markets, cultivating new recruiting partnerships, and other tasks or projects as required.
  • Analyze data patterns and present insights on internal recruiting metrics as requested or deemed necessary.
  • Effectively communicate with senior management regarding data trends; provide comprehensive responses to upper management inquiries regarding the current landscape of the general recruiting market within the wind industry and prevailing hiring trends at DWT.
What You'll Need:
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in recruiting.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience.
  • Familiarity with recruiting software and social networks.
  • Empathy, and an excellent sense for people.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • An agile mindset and flexibility in the face of changes.
  • A high level of initiative and an independent working style.
  • A team player mentality.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and follow instructions, such as resumes, offer letters, job descriptions and Department of Labor guidelines.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening.
  • The employee must be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus because of frequent computer-based work.
