About This Role
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact and impression of MN Custom Homes for anyone that walks into the office. Big picture, this role tackles behind-the-scenes administrative tasks as well as providing excellent customer service with visitors and employees. You'll enhance the culture of MN Custom Homes as the first point of contact and support any office needs that arise. Along the way, you'll partner with the Office Manager on creative office projects, events, and meetings.
On a Given Day, Your Work Might Include
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests, employees, and vendors
- Managing the stocking and ordering of office kitchen items
- Maintaining and organizing mail and packages to ensure they are delivered to the right department or employee
- Leading onboarding efforts when it comes to ordering materials and setting up new hire desks
- Supporting office manager with creativity when it comes to office events and decorations
- Ensuring office common spaces are tidy and clean
- Managing phone calls and voicemails to ensure they are connected to the correct employee
- Supporting office manager or department leads with ad-hoc projects that arise
Physical Requirements - This position requires frequent use of a computer, including keyboard functions and visual acuity of 20 inches or fewer on a daily basis
- Sit, stand and walk for 1 - 8 hours per day
- Lift, carry, push and or pull up to 50 lbs regularly
Travel & Vehicle Requirements - Some travel in 5-mile radius around the Bellevue office may be required
- Valid WA State Driver's License
- Acceptable driving record & proof of vehicle insurance
What You'll Need to Succeed
- High school diploma required
- Experience in reception, customer service, or administrative role preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to (re)prioritize and multitask effectively, picking up where you left off without missing a beat
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Comfort and flexibility in taking on new tasks or projects, and lending a hand in and outside your immediate team
- Ability to learn and retain information quickly, and understand general upstream/downstream implications
- Demonstration of a high level of professionalism and a solutions-based approach in accordance with customer service best practices and Company standards
- Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams)

Hours & Compensation
This is a full-time position paying $23.07/hr - $32.21/hr. The hourly range represents the anticipated low and high end of the hourly range for this position. Individual placement within a salary range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to candidate experience, knowledge, individual, skills, and organizational performance.
