Our client, a leading player in the adhesive and tape industry, is seeking a Materials Lab Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of various laboratory techniques and experience with testing various materials, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Materials Lab Specialist Location: Maplewood, MN Pay Range: $20-22/hr What's the Job? Prepare test samples for adhesive and tape/film products and raw materials. Conduct testing on properties of tape, film, adhesives, and other materials, including tensile & shear strength, bond strength, and mechanical properties. Document test results and assist with basic statistical analysis. Participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss findings and observations. Maintain general laboratory upkeep and manage supplies. What's Needed? Experience in laboratory settings, particularly with testing materials. Familiarity with data management and software systems. Strong analytical skills to interpret test results and provide conclusions. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
