Job Details Responsibilities
As a Permanent Quality Systems Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our quality management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 22000, FDA, and HACCP standards.
2. Conducting regular safety audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure the continued safety and quality of our products.
3. Managing and improving our CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) system, ensuring that any non-conformities are promptly addressed and that preventive measures are put in place to avoid recurrence.
4. Overseeing document control, ensuring that all documentation related to our quality management system is properly maintained and up-to-date.
5. Working closely with other departments to ensure that quality standards are understood and adhered to across the company.
6. Providing training and guidance to staff on quality systems and procedures.
7. Keeping abreast of latest industry trends and regulatory changes related to food safety and quality.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a quality management role within the food manufacturing industry.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 22000, FDA, HACCP, and cGMPs.
4. Proven experience with CAPA and document control.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Proficiency in using quality management software and other related tools.
