Project/Task Manager

At Blackspoke, people are our differentiator. As a Project/Task Manager, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared Project/Task Manager joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA, St. Louis, MO, or Arnold, MO.

What you will be working on (Job Description):

• Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or task(s).
• Reviews the status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Responsible for the scope, cost, schedule, and performance of assigned project or task(s).
• Manages or directs resources required to perform assigned project or task(s).
• Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management.
• Typically supervises assigned staff, which may include subordinate supervisors and managers.
• Develops technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task orders, and administrative reporting.
• May also perform high-level technical services on assigned tasks.
• Conducts planning and provides recommendations to the client on task workload.
• Manages risk tracking process.
• Attends customer meetings and serves as the primary client liaison.
• Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
• Coordinates the development of deliverables and products.
• Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.

What you will bring to us (Required Skills):

• BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of related work experience.
• Must have an active DoD security clearance; TS/SCI desired.
• Must have the ability to manage a medium to large team or department focused on multiple areas with medium to high complexity.

Would be nice if you bring the following (Highly Desired):

• Experience managing projects in the intelligence or defense sectors.
• PMP Certification or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
