Summary

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all plant operations, ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, minimize downtime, and maximize output.
• Monitor production schedules to meet customer demands while controlling costs and maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among staff.
• Oversee inventory management, including procurement and stock level control of raw materials.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics; identify and implement corrective actions.
• Foster a positive work environment through coaching, mentorship, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with departments such as engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance to optimize plant operations.
• Prepare and deliver reports on plant performance, including efficiency, quality, and financial metrics.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role, within a Tier 1 automotive environment
• Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements.
