Carolinas Staffing Solutions is looking for a Picker/Packer in the Winnabow, NC area!

Job Summary: The Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately picking and packing products for shipment, ensuring that orders are fulfilled efficiently and correctly.

Key Responsibilities:
Picking:

• Retrieve products from shelves or storage areas based on customer orders.
• Ensure products are selected according to order specifications (correct item, quantity, and quality).
• Use handheld scanners or systems to track and verify items.

Packing:

• Pack products securely into boxes, containers, or pallets to prevent damage during shipping.
• Label packages with accurate shipping information and labels.
• Ensure that packing materials are used efficiently to prevent unnecessary waste.

Quality Control:

• Inspect products for defects or damage before packing.
• Double-check orders for accuracy before sealing and shipping.

Inventory Management:

• Assist in tracking stock levels, reporting low inventory, and organizing products.
• Ensure that items are properly stored and returned to the correct location if necessary.

Safety and Cleanliness:

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and move items.
• Basic math skills to count items and verify orders.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and shipping.

Hours: Fulltime and Parttime hours

Rate of Pay: $12 - $13
