We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a part of our team! Waterside Psychiatry is a modern, integrative outpatient practice focused on compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. We’re seeking an experienced PMHNP or PA with psychiatric experience to provide medication management and evaluations for adolescents and adults in a hybrid model. This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible part-time work (1–5 days/week) in a professional, supportive environment. We believe in clinical excellence, accessibility, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Document accurately using Tebra EHR.
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Virginia license (PMHNP or PA).

• DEA registration or eligibility.

• Minimum 1 year outpatient psychiatric experience preferred.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
