Personal Training Manager Job Description: The primary objective of the Personal Training Manager is to actively manage and supervise our Personal Trainers, providing managerial-level support to maximize member participation and retention of our paid Personal Training Services. This involves managing, motivating, and supporting Personal Trainers to meet and exceed new client acquisition and existing client retention goals. The Personal Training Manager is responsible for communicating and upholding company standards, coaching, training, supervising Personal Trainers, and leading by example. Ensuring team members adhere to punctuality, dress code, friendliness, and cleanliness is also essential. To effectively fulfill these responsibilities, the role requires: The Personal Training Manager must be physically present in the club at least 5 days per week, supervising all Personal Trainers, responding promptly to client needs and complaints, and not being absent more than 2 days consecutively. Work hours may vary, averaging around 40 hours weekly, with additional hours during busy seasons or when performance improvement is necessary. Providing managerial-level member support, including responding to and resolving customer complaints within 24 to 48 hours, aiming for same-day responses when possible. Using discretion to manage Personal Trainer session scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Providing regular support, guidance, and oversight to Personal Trainers. Supervising and monitoring Personal Trainers' performance, making personnel recommendations as needed. Generating data and reports on sales, membership status, and Personal Trainer performance, and making sales strategy recommendations to the General Manager. Qualifications & Skills: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Managerial experience required Ability to exercise discretion independently Knowledge of Personal Training techniques and program design Familiarity with Crunch programs like VFP, dotFit, ABC/Datatrak, Crunch U, Styku, etc. Ability to operate all club equipment Experience in coaching and motivating groups Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills Positive, enthusiastic attitude Strong member service focus Professional response to guest, member, and staff inquiries Education: High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor’s Degree preferred Current CPR certification Certifications: One or more of the following: ACSM CPT, ACE CPT, The Cooper Institute CPT, IFPA CPT, NASM CPT or CES, NESTA CPT, NFPT CPT, NSCA CPT or CSCS Experience: 1-2 years as a Personal Trainer preferred Management experience in retail/hospitality leading 3-10 employees preferred Consultative sales experience preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to work in the club office and move around club floors Ability to review, revise, and create paperwork; communicate effectively Regularly demonstrate or explain physical fitness activities; lift up to 50 pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr Crunch Fitness
