Job Overview Cub Lakeville North is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time cake decorator position! Cake Decorators provide quality bakery products that meet the customer needs, ensures customer satisfaction and a positive shopping experience.
Job Responsibilities - Prepare bakery products
- Stock, rotate and face bakery product
- Ensure adequate quantities of product and decorating supplies
- Performing clean up of department
- Assist with department merchandising as directed
- Assist with customer questions or requests
Job Requirements - Equipment operation (spatula, decorating tubes, airbrush, copy machine, cake projector, mixer, bakery rack)
- Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
- The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
- Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
- Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be 18 years of age and older.
Physical Requirements - Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Walking on uneven ground
- Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
- Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces
