Position Specific Description Key Responsibilities Data Collection & Integration:
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and integrating data from various sources.
- Collaborate with team members to understand data needs and contribute to data collection processes.
- Participate in developing and managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Support the integration of various data sources into our data warehouse or data lake.
Database Management & Governance:
- Support in designing, implementing, and maintaining databases.
Help optimize database performance and storage. - Assist in ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle with Enterprise security protocols.
- Participate in data quality and data governance initiatives to maintain high data standards.
- Contribute to the development of data models, schemas, and technical documentation.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Assist in generating data reports and visualizations.
- Support business intelligence activities using various tools and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Understanding of programming languages such as Python.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, or Plotly) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is desirable.
- Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., AWS Glue).
Job Overview To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor's degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).
Job Duties & Responsibilities - Assists department with assigned projects
- Completes challenging projects and assignments
- Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
- Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications - High school grad / GED
- Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program
