Orientation and Mobility Specialist – 2025–2026 School Year
Start Date: ASAP

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) to provide in-person services for a high school students who is visually impaired. This role offers flexibility and a chance to make a direct, meaningful impact on a student’s independence and confidence in navigating their environment.

Requirements

  • Certification in Orientation and Mobility (COMS)

  • Active CDE license or eligibility to obtain one

  • Experience providing O&M services in school settings preferred

Position Details

  • In-person services on a high school campus in Brighton, CO

  • Approximately 3–5 hours per week , with some additional time initially to make up missed service hours from the start of the school year

  • Flexible scheduling to meet both the student’s and provider’s availability
