Job Summary

As a Nutritional Services Assistant, you play a key role in supporting patient well-being by delivering nutritious meals with care and excellent service. This role is fast-paced, hands-on and will pay a critical part in our clients daily operations.

What You'll Do

• Greet patients and provide courteous, professional service
• Deliver and set up meal trays in patient rooms and care areas and pick up trays and return dishes and equipment to the kitchen
• Load, tend, and unload dishwashers; pre-wash items as needed
• Prepare and assemble food such as salads, desserts, snacks, and special-diet trays
• Maintain a clean and sanitary tray line, kitchen, and work areas
• Follow food safety, storage, labeling, and diet-restriction guidelines
• Assist with entering patient meal orders, snacks, and supplements; run related reports
• Transport meals to other buildings on campus (may use company vehicle)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in food service, hospitality, healthcare, or customer service is a plus and preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude always.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
• Comfortable with walking, standing, lifting, bending, and other light physical activity for length of shift
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures and operate kitchen equipment
• ServSafe certification preferred, not required - willingness to train
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
