Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to serve as a key escalation point for high-level break/fix and maintenance issues within a Global NOC environment. This role requires deep expertise in SD-WAN, MPLS, Cloud, and Security, along with the ability to work directly with engineering teams supporting a large-scale global network. The ideal candidate will perform complex analytical duties related to the planning, development, testing, and ongoing evaluation of network systems. You will handle escalations stemming from hardware and software failures, optimize network performance, and provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :-

• Serve as a senior escalation point for advanced break/fix issues and network maintenance events.
• Provide hands-on support for IP routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and customer premises equipment.
• Design, configure, and deploy LAN/WAN network connections, hardware, software, communication links, and services.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to meet company standards and SLAs.
• Optimize network and system services, identifying and resolving performance issues.
• Collaborate directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve network-related concerns.
• Act as a technical resource and mentor for internal engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :-

• Hands-on experience with Fortinet SD-WAN technologies, and familiarity with Cisco and Nokia routing platforms.
• Strong knowledge of network design principles, routing, and real-world application.
• Advanced experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewalls (FG 60F/80F/100F/400F/1800F) and Fortinet application suite.
• Relevant industry certifications such as Fortinet NSE, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
