Job Description

Network Administrator; FT (8a-4:30p) -The Network Administrator is responsible for network security, monitoring, tuning, acquisition, administration including telecom, wired and wireless networks, Ian and wan.

Documentation of network information works with security analyst and manager to ensure all network devices are secure and up to date. Establishes VPN with external vendors. Assists with helpdesk duties as needed. Applicant must have a Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years' experience or an Associate Degree and 5 years of related experience; or 10 years of experience. Must already have or actively working to attain within one year of hire date Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification or Network.

Network Analyst; FT (8a-4:30p)- Applicant must have a Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field OR Associate Degree and 3 years related experience. Experience with TCP/IP; FTP; Frame Relay; Telnet; IP Subnets; Cisco Unified Communications DHCP; DNS; Windows 2000/2003; UNIX; Switch and Shared Ethernet; Gigabit Ethernet; Designing Networks; WANS, and Intranets, Fiber-Optics and CAT5 and Copper Wiring and MS Visio Tech. Must already have or obtain within 1 year of hire date, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification. The Network Analyst is responsible for the acquisition, configuration, administration and maintenance of servers, telecommunications equipment, wired and wireless networks, and LANs/WANs in the facility. The network analyst assists with the successful installation of PC hardware, software, and peripherals as needed at the Help Desk.
