Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have background in automotive diagnostics and repair. This position requires expertise in vehicle maintenance, light engine repair, suspension, braking, charging, ignition, and powertrain systems. As an On Site or Mobile Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are repaired properly, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards.

Duties

Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend solutions.

Conduct routine vehicle maintenance services, including spark plugs, belts, tire rotations, bulbs, filters, and brake inspections.

Repair and install vehicle components according to manufacturer specifications.

Troubleshoot and repair gas engines and powertrain systems.

Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems, wiring layout, and components effectively.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and battery services.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology. Must have a desire to learn, and be mentored by a master auto technician.

Must be self disciplined and be comfortable working alone or with someone watching as customers are sometimes present (We try to prevent spectating )

Requirements

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.

Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and general light repair techniques.

Familiarity with Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles is highly desirable.

Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

ASE certification or equivalent is a plus but not mandatory and testing is paid for.
