Miami | 1.0 Assistant Cross Country Coach job at FWCS Fort Wayne, IN, US

Job Description

This is for the 2025-2026 School Year. Pay for this position may be prorated based upon approved hire date.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Candidate must comply with IHSAA, MSAC rules/regulations and all FWCS policies including FWCS code of ethics. Prefer candidate with middle school coaching experience. Must be willing and able to work effectively with students from multicultural backgrounds. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to developing positive working relations with students, parents, teachers, and administrators. Candidate will be responsible to instruct and supervise all athletic practices and games. Candidate must have the ability to maintain high expectations for students both academically and athletically. Candidate must have the ability to utilize, organize, and work with other head coaches and assistants. Candidate must have or be willing to obtain SPB/Minibus certification before the season.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Prefer candidate who will be teaching at Miami Middle School for the 2025-2026 school year. If the applicant is a current FWCS teacher, they must fulfill their daily contracted hours before coaching. If not an FWCS teacher, candidate must be available at 3:30 PM Monday through Friday afternoons. #J-18808-Ljbffr FWCS
