We’re actively seeking a Medical Billing Specialist who is energetic, organized, and detail-driven. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in medical billing and coding. If you have experience or education in medical billing and coding, we’d love to meet you.

Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately submit billing and ensure timely payments.
• Review and reconcile billing reports to identify and fix discrepancies.
• Assist in resolving billing issues promptly and efficiently.
• Stay informed on the latest billing regulations and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline the billing process.
• Utilize medical billing software and systems with proficiency.
• Provide billing performance reports and recommendations to the Billing Supervisor.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience in medical billing and coding is required.
• Proficient in medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid (preferred but not required).
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to meet performance goals and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, phone, and computer skills .
• Multitasking and prioritization abilities are a must.
• Certification in medical billing and coding (preferred but not required).
